Redlands Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) supports children from birth to five years who have a diagnosed or suspected disability and require additional support to participate in learning.
Through play-based learning, small-group programs and outreach support, we work alongside families to build each child’s skills, confidence and independence and support a positive start to their educational journey.
What is an ECDP?
The Early Childhood Development Program provides early intervention and specialised educational support for children from birth to five years.
Our team works alongside families, therapists and early childhood providers to support each child’s individual learning and development. ECDP can complement kindergarten and NDIS supports.
Attending ECDP is not the same as enrolling at a school. Children do not need to attend a state school in the future to access the program.
Who can access ECDP?Children may be eligible if they have a diagnosed or suspected disability that significantly impacts their ability to participate in learning.

How we support your child
Our programs use a strengths based, family centred approach that recognises each child’s abilities, interests and individual learning needs.
Children are supported to develop communication, play, social interaction, independence, early learning skills and participation in everyday routines.
Support may be provided through our centre programs or through outreach in kindergartens, early learning centres and future school settings. We work alongside families and educators to provide practical strategies and support a positive transition to school.
