P.A.T.H stands for Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope.
P.A.T.H is a person-centred planning process that supports students to think about their future and identify what is important to them as they prepare for life beyond school.
At Redland District Special School, P.A.T.H planning brings together the student, their family and school staff to explore the student’s strengths, interests, goals and aspirations. Together, we consider what a positive future could look like and identify the steps and supports that can help the student work towards it.
P.A.T.H planning forms part of our Senior Secondary transition planning, helping ensure the student’s voice and individual goals remain at the centre of decisions about their future.
